Mick Scott is the Townsville Manager of Devcert. He brings to the company a wealth of knowledge with over 27 years experience in the Building industry.

After 20 years as a qualified Carpenter, Mick decided it was time for a change and with his strong track record in both commercial and domestic construction and with the knowledge of upcoming legislative changes, he decided to pursue a career in Building Surveying. Today he is a qualified BSA Licensed Building Surveyor and is an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS).

Mick is a key player in the Devcert’s team due to the practical industry knowledge he has accrued over his lengthy career. His experience working in local Queensland markets allows him to draw on an extensive network of qualified industry links to facilitate a projects success whether it is design consultation or final approval.

Outside of work Mick plays in a veteran hockey team and enjoys watching the football. He is married with 2 children.
